After a lesson in modern classical music today. I grew a strong admiration for the piano dualists known as Anderson and Roe. Even if you don’t like classical music you should give this a chance because they are really talented!

One of my favorite Fueled By Ramen bands, Fun., has released a new song this week. “One Foot” is a really catchy tune and nonetheless well done as always. This keeps me excited for their new album “Some Nights” to come out February 21, 2012. I think this band is so talented and ironically just “fun”. Watch for them to be in your area when they hit the road Spring 2012. Now listen up to this new single and get excited for what’s to come from the band next!

Christina Perri writes the “Song Jar of Hearts” to portray a story of a guy that almost any girl has come in counter with or will at some point in their life . She is a great lyricist and musician. This was her first song to hit and big on the radio and from this point she has only continued to grow. I guess when you feel your lowest you could only grow stronger and better from what Christina’s message prevails. Check it out!

I saw The Kooks a month or so ago, and I must say for all the shows I go, this was by far one of the best. “Naive” is probably one of my favorite songs of the band because I like the meaning behind it and I just think it is obviously a song that really helped bring them to life in the US. It’s also just a fun tune and always seems to put me in a good mood even with some sappy love lyrics of not being let down. Although it is off their old album, I really think that their new album ‘Junk of The Heart’ is really well done and is worth a listen as well! If this band is ever in your area, they are worth the money to check out a live performance!
